Kampala, April 22, 2014 – V&A, Uganda’s number one sherry produced by East Africa Breweries Limited today announced the final winner of its exclusive promotion dubbed “Win the wheels of love” marking the completion of the two month valentines promotion.
During a colourful event which doubled up as the final draw, one lucky winner walked away with a brand new Toyota Vitz from East Africa’s finest sherry, V&A, to the delight of the numerous consumers who had come out to witness the draw held at Nakumatt, The Oasis.
“We are honored to announce the winner’s name. We are pleased that once again, we have paved the way to improve customers’ satisfaction through a better Valentine’s experience and more value for their money”, said Menya John-Brian, V&A Brand Manager.
At the awards ceremony to mark the end of the valentine’spromotion, EABL Marketing Director, GraceNshemeire presented the Toyota Vitz car keys to the winner in the presence of members of EABL management, employees and the general public in a transparent and credible process.
The same valentine’s promo dubbed, “With love from V&A” last year saw Elvis Lubega “an accountant“walk away with a brand new Toyota Vitz. At V&A, we believe that each and every one of our customers are special and it is our pleasure to continue serving them by delivering the best service, best value and best quality wherever they are,” said Menya.
The promotion has been running since February, 2014 indifferent key towns around Uganda; Kampala, Masaka, Mbarara, Fortportal, Arua, Soroti, Mbale, Gulu and Jinja.
In addition to the lucky winner at the grand draw, regional winners were also awarded during the duration of the promotion. There were 6 winners who were awarded with 500,000 Ugx at the different stages of the promotion.V&A branded towels, V&A branded blouses, V&A bottles were also given out to the different winners who participated in the promotion in the different regions.
